You have probably heard about GoBone and now you’re wondering where to buy it. If you want to know where to buy a GoBone, how much it costs and why you might want it, then read on. Afterwards, you can decide whether or not you should buy it.

Where To Buy It

Gobone is now available through Amazon (also Prime).

How Much Does it Cost

It’s important to note that GoBone is the type of product that will provide your pet with hours of entertainment and there are a lot of reasons you should buy it. At first glance, the price for GoBone may seem high, but it is worth it and it should last a longtime. With that said, at the time of this writing, the product is just under $170, which is a good price. If you’re looking for a highly engaging toy that you and your pet will enjoy, then this is the product for you and it is worth every dollar.

Reasons To Buy it

gobone reviewed by dogThe main reason you should buy GoBone is because you will be able to keep your dog entertained while you are away. Many people are looking for a toy to keep their dog busy while at work, and this product does so both autonomously and with smartphone control. Not only will it entertain your dog, but it will provide them with exercise, so if your dog is not getting enough exercise throughout the day or playtime during the day, then this product is what you should buy.

The device has a bonding mode, which is designed for timid dogs, and this mode will allow them to get use to the toy, but at their own pace. In other words, it will ease them into becoming comfortable with the device. Eventually they will love it.

Let’s not forget to mention the device has an 8-hour battery life, which is great. If you work most of the day or you have errands to run, then you can rest assure that the batteries should last while you’re gone. Also, the GoBone moves on its own, which your dog will love.

Reasons Not To Buy It

exploded view of gobone dog toyIt’s important to realize that Gobone does not stand up to the abuse of large dogs. Don’t buy it if your dog is over 30 pounds (unless it’s a really fat chihuahua). The material and construction are not able to withstand the powerful jaws of these dogs. For now it’s not clear if Gobone will make a stronger and bigger version.

When Gobone changes direction, the handle flips to the other side and hits the floor pretty hard. If your floors are thin and noisy, please take this into account. It’s possible that you will get into trouble with the neighbors.

Now you know where to buy a GoBone and why you should get it. If you’re looking for one of the best interactive pet toys to provide your dog with exercise and play when you’re not around, then the GoBone is for you. There is no other toy available, right now, that can play with your dog fully autonomously.

So if you have a small to medium dog that spends a lot of time at home, Gobone can really light up their day.

As someone with two big dogs, I would like to see more information about how the materials are designed to hold up under various conditions. In our house, Kong extreme toys are the only ones that last any longer than a week or so-supervised or not.

Yes. That is my fear also. What if they can get to the batteries? I am skeptical about it being indestructible. It would make me nervous leaving my dog unattended with this toy all day.

    • Kwinten says:

Hi Janet, the batteries are all the way inside. The Gobone would have to have been completely destroyed before a dog could get to it. Although it’s not impossible, it’s pretty unlikely that normal dogs will do that. If your dog chews up anything it can get, then you might have to be careful.

How about when is the product going to be shipped. Ordered mine in November and still waiting.
